Here’s When We’ll See The Second Trailer For STAR WARS: THE FORCE AWAKENS

Source: ComicBookMovie

The first teaser trailer for Star Wars: The Force Awakens was a great way to end 2014, but fans of the beloved franchise are already desperate to see more. Well, Latino-Review reports that we don’t have too long to wait as it will debut in just a few months time with Avengers: Age of Ultron!

This was expected, and is by far the best movie to put the highly anticipated trailer with. The site also reveals that the preview will provide us with a first look at the classic heroes too, so that means we’ll finally get to see the likes of Han, Luke, Leia, Chewie and the gang all in action.

Fantastic Four teaser attached to Kingsman

Source: Latino Review

Update: Screenwriter/Producer Simon Kinberg alerted us and sent me an update about the story going around that Fantastic Four is “a mess” and is reshooting in Louisiana for weeks.

Here is what Kinberg said:

To confirm – Fantastic Four will be doing 3-4 days of additional photography with director Josh Trank and some key cast members. We are very excited about the film and can’t wait for you to see what we’ve been up to. And you will be able to do that very soon as I can confirm here that the teaser will be on Kingsman in theaters February 13.

‘Avatar’ Sequels Delayed By One Year to 2017

Source: /Film

In a move that will surprise no one, James Cameron has revealed that the Avatar sequels will be pushed back by one year. That means Avatar 2 will be out in 2017, followed by Avatars 3 and 4 in 2018 and 2019. “We were probably a bit ambitious,” he admitted of the original release dates.

Cameron revealed the release date shift to the AP (via Variety). As of now, the plans is still to shoot all 3 Avatar sequels simultaneously – and that’s part of the issue.

There’s a layer of complexity in getting the story to work as a saga across three films that you don’t get when you’re making a stand-alone film. […]

We’re writing three simultaneously. And we’ve done that so that everything tracks throughout the three films. We’re not just going to do one and then make up another one and another one after that. And parallel with that, we’re doing all the design. So we’ve designed all the creatures and the environments.

‘Suicide Squad’ Movie Loses Tom Hardy; Jake Gyllenhaal To Replace?

Source: Screenrant

After several sources got word that Hardy had been forced to leave the project (set to begin production in April of this year), TheWrap reports it is due to The Revenant – in which Hardy stars with Leonardo DiCaprio – running over schedule. Add in the required promotional tour for the release of Mad Max: Fury Road, and the window closed entirely.

Thankfully, it seems that Hardy’s replacement may have already been found, as the outlet also reports that Jake Gyllenhaal is being sought by director David Ayer (having previously starred in the writer/director’s End of Watch). Considering the accolades Gyllenhaal earned for his turn in Nightcrawler, and the pounds of muscle he’s packed on for his role in Southpaw, the timing couldn’t be better.

Patton Oswalt and ‘Watchmen”s Patrick Wilson Dissect ‘Watchmen’

Source: Screen Crush

This is a fun clip. It’s from a recent appearance from actor, comedian, and author Patton Oswalt at the WORD Bookstore in Jersey City, where he did a public conversation with actor Patrick Wilson. Oswalt is a hardcore comic-book nerd in addition to his passion for film, and Wilson starred in one of the most polarizing comic-book adaptations of all time, Zack Snyder’s slavishly faithful version of Alan Moore and Dave Gibbons’ ‘Watchmen.’ When a fan asked a question about the movie, both Oswalt and Wilson shared their honest feelings about the project…

Watch: ‘Guardians of the Galaxy’ Gets the 8-Bit Cinema Treatment

Source: FirstShowing

…now we have a cool video from CineFix as part of their ongoing 8-Bit Cinema series, and this one reaches back to 2014 to turn Marvel’s surprise sci-fi hit Guardians of the Galaxy into an old school video game. Every single time one of these videos gets released, all I want to do is play a real 8-bit video game version, but that feeling is even stronger for this one. Watch below now!
