well.. the direct links are on the site. I'm just giving the heads up for that site since its a very nice site and deserves credit. .. also.. videos don't have sound so thought it wasn't that good to post them.
Anyway... the episodes are online to download.
The series will be 20 episodes with a strong rumour of a GitS second movie based on the manga series

I didn't really like GITS, but the pics from the series look kool, I shall explore the site at a later date.

ususally when a good film is given a series it turns out junk, but there are exceptions (like stargate) and since GITS was originally a comic a series is likely to work.

Thanks for the links zubi, I've only had time to download one but the animation is very impressive.

At first... I thought that SG1 completely screwed up the movie .. but now upto its 6th year, they have carefully worked out all ends of the story. Now.. i like it.

Just watched the first 2 episodes of GitS-SAC and must say its fantastic! Its like the movie itself with the intelligence of Patlabor trilogy. Loved it. Anyone want screenshots?

Are you sure that it's not supposed to be played in realplayer. I've made that mistake in the past and got the same message.

ofcours that this AVI file don't work in RealOnePlayer... not in my case. :)

I know its alittle too early but I love the music used throughout the whole episodes. Intro credits is Russian music with in the middle Japanese music and english songs. Wow!!
If the OST emerges from somewhere... plz.... post the news up!

January 22nd, 2003 is the current release date for GitS-SAC OST.

CDJapan (cdjapan.co.jp/neowing.co.jp), AMOTokyo (amotokyo.com) and Amazon JP (amazon.co.jp) will most likely have the OST when they come out.

Just saw episode 3 and 4 myself. Excellent work. The intro of these episodes has been changed to CG work!!!

Sure ... SAC gets better with every show. #12 was freakin hilarious ... Tachikoma comedy. :)

IG have anounced that they are producing another 26 episodes of the popular Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex series. The new series will start screening in January, at the rate of 2 per month.

Hey.. very rare you see an anime surpass the standard 26 episode limit.

i thought GitS the movie was awesome. the theme tune got a bit scratchy, but actually grew on me after a while. cant wait for GitS2!
