First of all. No need to doube-post anything from the main site.

Now, a breakdown of what quality of those trailers and clips are like:

good idea editman and you are beeing the main source for kubrick films, i have only 2 (2001 and spartacus), you may bring these vobs ready and i gonna prepare them for a massive "stanley kubrick week".

I say why not? :D

In the next few weeks (bare with me and my busy schedule) I'll be ULing the VOBs files of the Kubrick trailers, from Killer's Kiss to Eyes Wide Shut (except maybe those already posted to ML Classics - namely Dr Strangelove & Full Metal Jacket).

Then we can work out what's what from there.

One thing: for Spartacus I would prefer to use the VOB source from the Universal R1 over Criterion, cos there are actually 2 trailers on the Universal and even the colour is duller it still looks better than the version on the Criterion DVD, which is recycled from their laserdisc.

The only thing is that the Universal is an old DVD so the trailers reside in the Video_01_0.VOB file with no chapter stop, ie one 225MB VOB rip with 2 trailers and 10 seconds of menu in front.

no problemo. can easily cut the menu out and split the vob so that i get two nice trailer vobs :D

No problem, I was just wanting to do a comprehensive trailer/clip post for Kubrick. I am sorry that they are not the best quality, but that is all that is currently available online.

That would be awesome. At least the crappy trailers accomplished something. ;)
