Even though Schumacher's directing, this still looks pretty good...

Okay, I've just got one problem with "Phone Booth." I think the movie looks really interesting, despite the fact that Schumacher is directing the film.

My problem with the film is the replacement of the shooter in the final cut to take advantage of Kiefer Sutherland's newfound popularity. The film was shot with Ron Eldard ("ER") as the bad guy, but then Kiefer Sutherland was added in during post-production. Why, I ask? Why? I like Ron Eldard and I just think Schumacher made a mistake with this switch.

Other than that, I think the movie looks pretty cool. I'll still go see it when it comes out.

You have to admit, Kiefer Sutherland does have a more evil and menacing voice than Ron Eldard does. Sure, he's jumping on the "Kiefer Sutherland is cool again" bandwagon, but oh well.
