It seems like the film is supposed to physically produce the same reaction that it does emotionally, with all those crazy cuts and sound effects. John Leguizamo jerking off in a trailer is also something you don't see everyday. And I can't believe the cast!!
This looks a lot like Requiem for a Dream, only on SPEED.

Speaking of Requiem for a Dream, Spun is goin out UNRATED too, just as Requiem did.
MPAA Rating Note: (3/10/03) This film had gotten an R rating from the MPAA for "for pervasive drug content, strong sexuality, language and some violence", but Newmarket is releasing it without a rating, presumably because that R rating only came after edits. On the official site, the "reasons" given for the Unrated rating are "for use of drugs, strippers and open flames".

i just ordered the unrated dvd from cd-wow, it should arrive next week. i hope i'll like it, but i guess so :)

btw the Rated DVD... is not CUT.. but censored... LOL.. blurred out stuff like the way the Japanese censor movies..

btw, german theatrical release is august 7, 2003
