latest download Is SW EP2 AOTC and Spiderman :big grin:
Kn'thrak 09-07-2002, 08:02 AM Agree with Tisoy. Since renting prices have gone higher,, i've stop renting movies and now either save up to buy DVDs or just download the DVDRips themselves.
But with some ppl, they aren't as freaky like us and rent them.
Was thinking today if i should rent A.I. Still haven't seen it.
salsa shark 09-07-2002, 10:31 AM I'm lucky. My roommate works in a video store, so we get all the free rentals we want. This has allowed me to catch up on a lot of movies that I wanted to see this summer, plus he can rent new releases a few days before they officially come out.:butt: :D
IceGambit 09-07-2002, 11:26 AM I still rent DVDs a lot. Mostly movies I don't really wanna buy, but wanna see the special features.
I can't download movies. I'm stuck with dialup. Took me 26 hours to download Band of Brothers part 1.
just rented 'eyes wide shut', and 'the limey'. enjoyed them both a great deal.
radstar 09-07-2002, 12:11 PM well last movies i rented wuz the new guy and van wilder: national lapoon. i also loved the new guy. it wuz funny. :butt:

we share them (via FTP press) or go to some share programs (KaZaA, WinMX, Direct Connect, Edonkey 2000 etc.) & DL from ppl who got the movie you want... :D ;)

You can also get them on Mirc. Though everytime I connect to a server I get instantly kicked. But Mirc works for my neighbour so it'll probably work for you.

aside from using Kazalite i also use Direct Connect from
http://www.neo-modus.com/ .... its a real file sharing system. It works like IRC where u enter rooms or hubs and share your files there. But in order to enter these hubs u must share files betweem 1GB to 80Gb of files. Most hubs have something like 400 people sharing files and u can always ask from them.
Another option is to have your own ftp server and share files with other people you know have files to share =)

IceGambit 09-11-2002, 01:02 PM I am one of those poor deprived fools who still uses 56k. Downloading files above 200 MB is out of the question.

Kn'thrak 09-11-2002, 09:42 PM Mischa, those are good pictures but they have nothing to do with ripping ;)
The best way I get what I want is from ppl I know that rip the movies/series themselves. FOrums r the best way to get started on this. Ppl actually BUY this stuff and I am more than happy to sell them want they want. I've sent like 50 cds overseas sometimes to ppl and they want more. Its for those dailups like some of u ppl.
