I'm trying to get a copy of the film The Kid Who Wouldn't Quit (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0234033/), which is the true life story of Brad Silverman, who was the first person with Down's syndrome to go to college in California.
It was episode 4 of season 16 of the ABC Afterschool Special TV series, and was released September 23, 1987. I did find some DVD collections of the afterschool specials, but they only go to 1986, and may not be the same.
After a while of internet research, I found that it is available in some libraries, but nothing near me.
I would like to get a copy of this film for my mother, because she heard about it years ago and my younger brother has Down's syndrome.
If anyone knows where I could get this (whatever format), I would be much obliged. I haven't looked into it much yet, but would it be possible to buy it from a library or find out where they get their education films from and get it from them directly?
Thanks!
