BZZT! New Line has since denied that it was ever in talks with Konami for the rights - so consider this rumor official busted. its a nice dream though.

The Metal Gear serise is like my fav game. There's a lot of games that they could/should turn into movies. The problem is, a lot of them don't turn out so good.

I'm not sure if it's been done before but the next time they turn a game into a movie, I'd like to see the development team (or as many as they can gather) be involved in the script and casting. Nobody knows the game better then the guys (and gals!) who made it.

Half-Life, Legend of Zelda, Metriod... Even GTA could make a movie. But they have to do it right. They can't just throw together a movie and forget what the game was about.
