something off topic, but hey we use the forum and spend few hours a day in front of the PC running MS Windows products, so heres a look at the future of Windows.. =)

I did click repeatedly on the bluejeans...and it worked...told u its multimedia oriented.....hehehehe

anyway, I can't help but notice(like Kn'thrak) that in 1 of the screenshots there is this picture that looks so familiar... and then I realized its from an email i got...

got this from email... it said... "please help the needy and the poor"... so i did check the attachment...and saw these...lol

Looking good though. Then again, for me it isn't about looking good as much as it is about running smooth. Because you can always tweak windows in different ways to make it look exactly how you want.

still I have to say looking good. :D (Both the screen shots and the ladies :D ;))

i like the new GUI and also i heard voice input will be part of the OS.... hopefully....

Can't remember where I read this but

XP was code named Whistler right?

Whistler is a mountain.
Longhorn is actually the name of a cabin at the base of that mountain.

XP was a big mountain climb - a huge change. Longhorn is a break before they climb another mountain...:confused:

How about people learn that it's not about apparance at all. Windows looks nice and crashes every five minutes. I'm fortunate enough to know a lot about computers so I cna run a good machine but for most users Windows is crap, Macs are much better with their Mac OS 9. Like someoone said, u can always tweak the apperance but u can't tweak the stability and efficeincy of the system

The OS is only as stable as the user, my OS is pretty damn unstable.

hrmm. i just want windows messenger 5... and i dont see the real big deal. it looks the same as xp.. with a style xp:D
