i dont also use playlist..... i just click on the music i want to play and thats it...

i have about 3940 mp3s..... eating about 24GB of space.. :evil:

i have about 10 cds... just full of MP3z. TOo lazy to count them.

I have several playlists, one for movie soundtracks, one for techno, one for more mainstream stuff etc. There's about 50-100 on each one. I also have a playlist that is just all my favorites from all the playlists composed into one. That's basically all I use. There's about 20 songs on it but they're constantly changing.

I find a playlist the easiest way to play my music. I have a ton of it, so everything I care to listen to on a regular basis is in there with "shuffle" on. So it's kinda like the radio, but with good music ;);)

Right now my list is 7 hours, 46 minuites and 49 seconds long.
There are 122 tracks.

A fair amount of electronic - most of which you probably haven't heard of because they don't play on the radio.

i still use winamp 2.x because if you put all your songs on one playlist... you can hit the "j" key and do a search for a song, just like a search engine! its the quickest way to find a song.

otherwise it just plays random songs, i hate local radio, and i have all my cd's in my collection anyway so its easier to have the one list :)

5 years ago, my small CD collection converted into *.wma and some *.mp3 totalized more than 72 hours of music, a very low number given yours :D

I got about 29500 tracks mostly above 160kbits/s, I'm a sucker for quality.
It's almost 120GB worth of music. 50% of that is filmmusic which are about 700 to 750 soundtracks. The rest are divided in 50's, 60's, 70's, 80's, 90's, 2000's, classical music, blues, jazz, sould, acid jazz, chill out, folk, dance and alternative.
All the music is placed on two seperate external USB discs which have enough room left for another 320 GB.
