I found this site today ... It's perfect !

I have problems with saving trailers, for example:

I've looked in the source code of the html, and tried out:

nothing happens ... (it saves a 1,3KB of info)

How shoud I do it ?

And *.asx is a big question-mark for me ???????

open that 1.3k quicktime file with notepad and u will see the direct file link!

Most asx files are streamers. Whichs means the images are not downloaded directly to your hdd but your just viewing them. THeir are programs that makes u record these streamers but streamers aren't worth recording unless they are live images!

replace the link from ur first post of the file with the ending of this file name in the picture

So bascially... all you are adding is an "m" before the res size number in the original link. Just teaching you how to grab any link.

This litlle trick isn't working for X2, is there an other wayt to get X2 on my hd or am I doing something wrong?

This is what I already have done, I downloaded LARGETRAILER.mov, but when I open it in notepad, I can find even one link.

Anyone tips?

I have downloaded the new QuickTime 6.1, and it doesn't play .mov with mp3 sound (it tries to connect to the web, but I ain't got at home ( ), for example:

Pirates of the Carribian (downloaded from www.apple.com)

I'm using MPC 6.4.4.2 ...

What should I do ???

be sure u have installed all of its components.. usually when it wants to connect to the net.. it needs a new plug in or component

I Got quick time 6 (or latest qt)
all plugins and then the Key for the quick time pro so you can actually save all quick time movies played on the web to your harddrive and you get all options like full screne (really Full Screen) and other stuff for editing also....

First I wanna say thanks to Knatrak (!) for showing how to get trailers.

But I can't get the 'Hollywood Homicide' one! It's only on the Apple trailers page with the varying res sizes! There's nothing to put the 'm' next to! So how do I do it?

In fact how do you get ANY trailer from the Apple Trailers page?

By the the Classsic trailer - Face/Off isn't working. Fix it! :-)

I didn't check the message board in time and I couldn't save the trailer to the CD!

You see I was in a web cafe and I was putting together some trailers for the owners to burn to CD for me. I already had about 16, when I had to stop as it was costing me per half hour - I'm in the UK and it was costing me £2.00/30 minutes - expensive! So I burned the CD not knowing the link was here!

Waaah! I could do it at home but I have a crap 56k connection which transfers at 5KB/sec while the web cafe does up to 170KB/sec!!

But thanks anyways.....please tell me how and where to get all of these unique pictures from?? I know some are screen grabs from trailers, but how do you do that?
