GOODBYE BUFFY, HELLO FAITH

For any Buffy the Vampire Slayer fans I have some news. Finally the cat is out of the bag and reports are starting to fly in all over the place. It's all but official that SMG is not returning to Buffy. Eliza Dushku has been signed to replace her as the lead on the show. See the links below:

i have lost faith (pardon the pun) in the show... ever since the whole spike with a chip idea.. and buffy falling in love with him?? !? what the!

but as a fan i will still buy the remaining box sets, download the scripts blah blah.. i just do it reluctantly :) hehe

p.s for all buffy fanatics.. there is a really cool book with the piano sheet music from "once more with feeling" if you see it grab it.. its kickarse music to play! :)

Are they going to change the name of the show? It'd be kind of weird having the same name, but no title character.

There has been no official announcement as far as the name. However, I for one hope they rename it FAITH or THE SLAYER. Either one works for me.
