well, I'm not such a movie fanatic on this case, but I do not watch as I remember any movie more that 3 times (max 2 times) in cinema. I remember this ones, which i saw (on a different formats; cinema, TV, VHS, DVD or DivX) around 4 or 5 times:

- 5th Element
- The Abyss
- Aliens
- Predator
- Blade Runner

You'll enjoy it more then when you got the DVD! :D

Do you guys poop money?

I saw 3 times the same movie max. That was Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and Final Fantasy. There's plenty of 3 times, but i don't think i went with 4+.

On tape, I saw Lion King 15+ times. Speed 10+. And LOTR 6+ since i have the SVCD.

Let's see... I have no clue how many movies I've seen twice in theatres... but I know that in 2002, I saw Signs, xXx, AotC, and MIB2 twice.

The record for me is three viewings, and it's shared by Spider-Man and The Lion King.

Apocalyptica

Mortal Kombat 6 times. I was a big fan of the game back in the days. My hormone was kicking in, and boy oh boy did Kitana look hot. So did Sonya.

It costs $9.70 AUD now for a cinema ticket at my local theatre.. I am almost considering not going to the cinema anymore.. I will just save up and buy a bigger TV.. i alraedy have my sound and DVD set up.. its just not worth it!! Especailly since I can rent movies for free!! :D

are you nuts..?? only two times ? there is nothing like seeing a good movie on a 15'x9' screen (i really don't know the size off the top of my head)

...movies were meant to be seen in a theater, not on your TV. that is what HBO and Skinemax is for. Not Star Wars, or the Matrix or Indiana Jones... the theater is best.

but to answer your orignal question...(all of these are in the theater, not at home or on TV)
Episode 1 : 12x
Episode 2 : 15x
LOTR:FotR : 9x
LOTR:TTT : 20x

i work part-time at a theater so it is easy for me to come into work 2 hours early and watch a movie for free... almost too easy. so i see most movies at least 5 or 6 times. more if it is good.

Star Wars Episode II - 3x
Harry Potter 1: 2x
Star Wars Episode I: 2x
Titanic: 2x

I think that is all I have seen multiple times. I don't get to the movie theaters often.

(BTW: saw Titanic once in regular theater, once in double-feature drive-thru with Grease, my wife's two favorite movies... saw Harry Potter the first time by myself, second time with my wife... Episode II once with wife and friends, once with another friend and his son, and once by myself, Episode I once with wife and once with friend.)
