Well, I've asked it before, and I'm gonna ask again (because I know for a fact there is no listing anywhere). Does anyone have any idea (even a hunch) as to what music they used in the Hackers, or Ballistic: Ecks Vs Sever trailers?

The song I'm looking for in Hackers is the last used. It begins where the guy asks "Can we by allies?"

Here is a sample:

ftp://anonymous:anonymous@beastbox.net/*Requests/Ballistic Ecks Vs Sever - Trailer/ecks-vs-sever-trailer-sample.mp3

The song from Ecks Vs Sever begins where Banderas says "Let's Finish This" with the quick fades, and colour inverted smash cuts :)

Here's also a sample from that one.

ftp://anonymous:anonymous@beastbox.net/*Requests/Hackers Trailer/hackers-trailer-sample.mp3

Someone out there HAS to know any of these. At least the song from Hackers (since the one from Ecks might be original score).

Thanks in advance :D

Ecks Vs Sever is by Robert Etoll.. i have the clip from his website.. but its nothing like the trialer music.. which suggests he did it.. but doesnt have a clip for free download :D

He also did music for Drumline and the first Xmen promos :D

I don't know about you guys...but I really don't understand how Etoll is still working in the industry. His cues must be the worst ever for use in today's marketing. At least...in my opinion. Argh!!!! :upset:

i have to agree with you RoboDan... I hate it how they use cues from Immediate Music and the likes... especially if they dont release CD's for the general public.. :d and since I dont have broadband.. downloading and capturing their sample files of the website is pointless...

since the point of a movie trailer is to advertise.. it should be compuslory to use score music from a film.. and their should be a governing bodies website which documents which track is used on which trailer.. and that website should also have a shop that lets you order those cd's online!! .. ooh what a fantasy! :D heheh
