Classics are almost never down. There are 4 servers that they run off of.
If you get a dead link, do a ping and find out which server you're having problems with...
(command prompt, 'ping movie-list.net')
All seem to be fine at the moment.

This is an old thread and likely isn't up-to-date anymore.
There are many changes coming to the site, and one (hopefully) will be an easier way to find and fix dead links.
