Hey guys! Here's my latest TV spot for the Verhoeven classic, Starship Troopers. This was actually a really quick attempt for me. I was bored one day, and decided to futz around with some footage. Came up with something a half hour later. Then, day after day, I kept spending 5 min. trying to change this here, and add that there, and blah blah blah. To make a long story short...I was spending too much time on it, and hardly anything was coming across. Either way, the intial idea is still there, and it's a quite entertaining piece. For all you Starship Troopers fans out there, you definetely need to add this to your collection! :)

Very nice, yet the video is too blocky.

And your logo in the begining... fantastic. What did you use for it? Combustion, After Effects..??

Yeah, the source on my Starship Troopers DVD isn't that great. I first started working with just the trailer, and re-cutting it. Then, I re-encoded the entire film on my HD. Still, some scenes aren't of the greatest quality. I guess all the more reason for me to pick up that Superbit edition! ;)

The logo itself was actually quite easy. With some stock footage, some photoshop stills I created, Premiere and some patience, and that's what I came up with. Although, that's going to be nothing compared to my next one, since AE has been calling me out for quite some time! :)

Right on man. I'm getting sucked dry every month as it is. Plus, it wouldn't really be an ML Exclusive if everyone can get their hands on it! :) It's special just for you guys!
