im doing an essay on da spy/action genre ...and need to mention James Bonds first movie....im not 100% sure if its Dr No (1962)...or if dat is wrong....could sum1 pleeeeeeze help me..any help would b much appreciated...:embarasse :angel"

Just to go into more detail:

Dr No is indeed the first James Bond movie, but not the first screen-adaptation of the Ian Fleming novels.

Casino Royale was adapted for TV in 1954 (which surprisingly, is not recorded on IMDB). This adaptation is available on the R1 Casino Royale DVD.

thanks alot for that info aswell....i actually wanted to mention alittle bit about Ian Flemings first screen-adaptation, and assumed that Dr No woulda been da first one......
