Watching a DVD when to my attention a DVD case was dropped infront of me. My mum had brought in a DVD... strange! With my knowledge? Well... looking @ the DVD it was Lord Of The Ring - Fellowship Of The Ring DVD. My heart rate increased ten fold when I saw the title with the picture. On top of the DVD Box it said, SUPERBIT to which my mouth dropped but instantly disagreed and disregarded the DVD as a pirate copy upon looking @ the asian language written on it.
Oh well... the DVD said, DVD, DTS, Dolby Digital, Widescreen... blah blah blah. I shoved the disc into my play and to my surprise a menu poped up. Kinda lame looking but it even had features which were just the trailers and teasers. The trailers were high res but I gather that some dude could have encoded them from the Apple site. Finally, I opened the movie..... & BAM!!!!!!!!

Widescreen, clear screen, no cuts, no asian subtitles, & clear sound with perfect colour. It then hit me.... i'm watching the Promotional DVD of LotR. Amazing...!!!! The DVD was in Dolby Digital so right then I cranked up the volume and hit the THX button :D
Only draw back is a quick Reminder every 20mins at the bottom of the screen saying "This DVD belongs to the New Line Cinema.. blah blah blah... Illegal... blah blah... stick it up my..."
The DVD has 18 chapters which is just under the amount in the book (22). Awaiting the extras coming the next months :D :D :D
***buys the DVD Box...***

Theatrical one I guess since the extended version is still probably being made until it hits the market. TO tell u the truth... i wouldn't know. Its been so long since I seen the movie last year. It was like watching the movie for the first time.
