i have recently fully seen Platoon (1986) (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0091763/) , i saw it b4 when i was a kid but never understood it properly, but now i discovered why Oliver Stone is such a great director.
Platoon is indeed a very powerful movie and one that u would not doubt its sincerity (written and directed by a person who was in the WAR)
so my fav movies about the Vietnam WAR are
1. Platoon (1986) (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0091763/)
2. Apocalypse Now (1979) (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0078788/)
3. We Were Soldiers (2002) (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0277434/)
