FAWLTY TOWERS

John Cleese at his best. Reaches the levels of 'Holy Grail' and 'Life of Brian'. Highly recommended.

'Black Adder' is quite nice too, but sometimes too british. It's a very dead pan humor.

X-Files
The Simpsons
Star Trek - The Next Generation

lets see... how many seasons are there in X files ... 1993-2002= 9

Simpsons ..... 1989-???? (not yet finished)... and they never get old.... how they do that:rolleyes:
so makes Simpsons 13 seasons

Star Trek TNG : 1987-1994 ... 7 seaons....

X-Files 110 euro per box(9) = 990 euro
Simpsons 45 euro per box(13) = 585
Star Trek TNG 110 euro per box(7) = 770

2345 euro........ thats a lot of money
or US$2,299.16
or 4,105.04 AUD

   DVD is an expensive hobby

Being a complete Simpsons freak, I must say The Simpsons. Infact I must say it fairly loud:

CHOOSE THE SIMPSONS!!!

Now that that's out of the way, I guess it depends on your tastes. I assume you enjoy all of these shows and are not just buying them for the heck of it. X-Files or Friends sound good to me too. And I've never seen a full eposide of Sopranos but from what I hear it's good.

Not bad suggestions. I was thinking of getting a series I havne't watched or the less popular ones.

My opinion would be either the series of Friends or the Simpsons

Farscape
Star Trek - TNG
Buffy
Angel
X-Files

Some of them I have many parts already. Pisses me off that Farscape comes out one disc at a time and not in a boxed season. Well, not in America.

Also, I'll be getting 24 and Alias when they come out on DVD.

OK.. i narrowed the list down to do these choices

Xena: Warrior Princess - Season 1
Buffy: Vampire Slayer - Season 1
Friends - Season 1

Your decision will count heavly towards my choice and which I buy in the next week or so.

FRIENDS. My sister has the Friends Season One on VHS and I watch it like everynight. It never gets old. I don't know why everyone passes Friends off as this pop-culture sensation that the hollow-minded watch. It's actually funny and smart. -end rant-

Not on your list, but get futurama. 2 seris means that it'll be way cheaper then the Simpsons, but with just as many laughs as all 9 series of Simpsons.

Looks like Sex & The City Season 1 was the choice ........
