I still need to buy the second season.

Pre-ordered two weeks ago.

Somehow I always have misfortune getting The Simpsons DVD, resulting me getting the same set 3 times!

Disc 1 of the Season 1 box set - when it starts playing the end credits of 'Homer's Odyssey', my DVD player freezes. But my DVD-rom plays with no problem. I've got another R1 box set but haven't checked it yet.

Disc 1 of the Season 2 box-set - The disc is f***ed between the second half of episodes 'Two Cars in Every Garage and Three Eyes in Every Fish' & first half of 'Dancing Homer'. When amazon.com sent me another set it plays fine. But it's a reprint cos the DVD holders are different.

Looks like I'm bloody cursed. I hope I only have to get a R1 set for season 3 this time. :(

Not if I'm living in Melbourne, Australia...

Besides no retail outlet sells anything not Region 4, (though there's one or two shops sells R1 DVDs in low profile) while I only want Region 1 DVDs if the film/TV shows was made in Hollywood/US.

okay cuz i don't know.... sometimes i don't understand why people (here in USA) pre-order from amazon or best buy... they're not gonna get it awhile after the release! i pre-ordered my austin powers dvd and i got it two weeks after the release.

best buy and amazon are the exact same price. one is free shipping and the other is no tax. but in store- it's the same price. i just go up to best buy or super target (sometimes super target is so cheap) on the day of the release rather than waiting on it. so i guess in ur place... you have to pre-order :)

and I have to wait for another month to arrive after my shipment is sent out... that is if the DVDs work on my players...

... and I'm an Aries. I don't know how I can be this patient waiting for my DVDs to arrive, except the fact that I can't afford Express shipment fees.

Got Simpson Season 1 and Season 2....i am a big simpson fan and want also watch it in original...

I picked up season 2 but they were sold out of season 1 :(

Maybe when I pick up 3 they'll have a bit restocked. You know...for people like me. who want all of them. Including #1.

(I can see it now...I'll have a shelf with 15 of these boxes on them and be able to pull up any episode I need at any time. You know - for the benifit of the children I'll have someday :P)
