    damn right, the Governator is the only guy who can catch a Predator by his neck and go "you're one ugly mother****er" lol

    and the comics were very good, just in terms of story they could've transformed any one of them into a movie.

    Yep, I read a few DVD reviews and they are saying the same thing... unfortunately there is no Unrated Edition in my beautiful country

    Post AVP 2 begins production !!

    Colin and Greg Strause has signed a deal to direct the upcoming "Alien Vs. Predator 2" film.

    The Strauses have created a name for themselves in the world of commercials and music videos because of their distinctive brand of helming such as with the Will Smith video "Black Suits Comin'". They also run the award-winning special effects house Hydraulx, which has provided several of the most memorable visual shots from Fox hits like "X-Men: The Last Stand," "Fantastic Four" and "The Day After Tomorrow."

    According to The Alien Experience the storyline of the second film will again pit the two franchise creatures against one another, but this time be moved into a more contemporary setting which many fans have taken to be a city. For their part, the Strauss boys at least have the right idea for tone - "We really want to take it back to the original 'Alien' and 'Predator' films and make a serious, gritty horror film. We want to take it back to its roots, without losing sight of the human struggle," added Greg Strause. "That's what made the originals so good" they told the trades.

    It's not expected any of the cast from the previous film will return. An August 2007 release is being targeted.

    I never heard of these 2 guys; I hope they don't screw it up!!

    I liked the first AVP, nothing special but just an enjoyable movie. However I don't compare it to the original movies, those are on a whole different level.

    Well I'm excited about this as well I enjoyed AVP but a couple of questions needs to be addressed about the ending of the first film such as:
    "What about the Hybrid?" and "will it be featured in AVP2?"
    I personally would like to see a fully grown Hybrid and see how it would look and react to both sides. Would it side with the Aliens or the Predators or would it try to just take them both out.

    it was at the end of the first AVP when the bring the "scar Predator" the one that took out the Alien queen with the help of the woman that surrived and put him on the table of the ship. It is a Chestbuster but when it was inside the Predator it somewhat changed and became half Alien and half Predator much like Scott Speedman in Underworld is half vampire and half werewolve. I don't think the creature has an actual name they just call it "the Hybrid"
