Synopsis:
Based on the true story of the greatest motion picture never made, “The Last Shot” shows how everybody – even the FBI – can get caught up in the allure, glamour, and glitz of Hollywood. Straight shooter agent Joe Devine (ALEC BALDWIN) has been assigned to cook up an elaborate scheme to take down infamous mob boss John Gotti. He assumes the role of a Hollywood producer and tells all the right lies to enlist a stooge to help execute his sting. He finds unsuspecting wannabe director Steven Schatz (MATTHEW BRODERICK), who’d do just about everything to get the chance to direct a “feature.” Schatz falls hook, line, and sinker for the pitch, but what Devine doesn’t tell Schatz is that the movie will never be made. Everything goes according to plan…until Devine and the suits at the Bureau start enjoying their new lives as “Hollywood players” a bit too much.

Looks like a 80' poster
-
yup yup!! defo a very energetic poster.. love it!

Hopefully this will be as funny as it seems.
Why wasnt Ray Liotta in the trailer?Sgt. Johnny Beaufort: He says, "The Apaches are a great race," sir. "They've never been conquered. But it is not well for a nation to be always at war. The young men die... the women sing sad songs... and the old ones are hungry in the winter."

I think this movie has a lot of potential too. I wouldn't be too worried that Liotta wasn't in the trailer - with a big ensemble cast I'm sure it is tough to fit everything in, and maybe they don't want to give away details of his character yet.
I think Broderick and Baldwin could be a great comic team

Definatly 80s action...
-
yes - loved the poster for that 80's styling. I also saw some clips they had on Jo Blo for like a day (before they got yanked) that were pretty funny.
One scene was Joan Cusack at her comic best, and another had Toni Collette peeing in a champagne glass - pretty outrageous stuff, so this looks anything but tame

very cool poster. going to see this one once it comes out in theaters.
