    Any Plasma users?

No... i don't mean you injection kind... theres treatment for you addicts .. i mean Plasma Displays/TVs.

Just wondering if any one uses a plasma tv to watch their DVDs or computers with. If so, please don't be sure and brag about them. What kind? specs? Photos if possible and/or setup.
I'm just curious wise on this. Who's upto date with the technology?

She's just too pretty for Hollywood. I don't know, put her in a glass box and display her at the Metropolitan Museum of Art or something. - Jake on the topic of Scarlett Johansson.

I don't have plasma. I heard they only last for about 7 years, so I put my money in a 61" Sony HD TV, and I love it.

got a pioneer elite 1110 here. and love it
and while its true it doesnt last as long as a conventional (but heavy and outdated) television set, its lifespan is still great in number. 24/7 would tax it obviously, but who watches tv for more than 6-12 hrs a day anyways? i sure dont have the time... and what you may have heard about LCDs lasting longer than plasmas is totally untrue. both have just about the same lifespan.

Decided to join the ranks of plasma users!!!

After years of torture from this Sony TV (picture below), decided it was time to get a new one. One word of advice, don't get a Sony today. You WILL be paying for repairs that are expensive as the TV itself. Got this time a Pioneer which are the leaders in visual so far.

    Before:
    The Whole Set
    The System itself
    The T.V. itself

    After:
    The Whole Set
    The System itself
    The T.V. itself

New addition componets that I got besides the TV are...
    • Digital Set Top Box
    • DVD Recorder
    • X-Box

... all crammed in the cabinet but the whole set looks nice when the cabinet doors are closed off and just the TV is in aura. Oh, almost forgot the TV's specs here
