    banned commercial - boy driving '05 Corvette

    Apparently this aired during the Olympics... some people complained since it depicts (wreckless) underage driving... hence it was pulled. I think it's just all sorts of awesome. Directed by Guy Ritchie.

    Now that I think about it more... most of the groups who were against this commercial cited that they were afraid kids would see this and get the idea to go and take their parents' car out for a joyride. The commercial makes it abundantly clear it's a fantasy. And secondly, what about all the bad things ADULTS do on television? I'd say kids look up to teens and adults more than they do other kids... they're the ones setting an example, and for a large part on television, it's a bad one. People don't think about the big picture anymore, just kneejerk responses... which is why there's so many unconstitutional laws and government organizations ::COUGH::FCC::COUGH::... but that's another debate. :big grin:

    i see nothing worng with that commercial so is kids driving a car oh no call 911 + they say some thing in the start of the commercial like kids dont dirve or some thing like that.

    I liked that commercial (Guy Ritchie, wow) I don't understand what the problem is. I hate this excuse that when a kid sees something they will go and do. RAISE YOUR DAMN KID RIGHT AND HE WON'T. These are stupid people with stupid children.

    The first time I saw this commercial I thought; cool, an
    original car commercial! Not for long. Very sad. It
    probably has something to do with the Patriot Act.

    Is the kid driving differnet from the one dreaming, and
    why would that be?
