Batman: New Times - CGI Lego-Type Fan Film
This is pretty cool! Not only did this student funded project get Adam West and Mark Hamill to return to their respective characters, but it is a pretty good looking use of Lightwave!
Good job, DAVE School!

I think that too many people are trying to download it that the server fried. It'll probably be up again sometime soon. I'll let you know when it works again.

Yep, as a student film it's pretty good. Although the Catwoman scene is entirely lifted from 'Batman Returns' and The Joker here is like a crossover with Two Face in 'Batman Forever', hence not as menacing as Nicholson or as campy as Romero.
I do like the Harley-Quinn bit, a villain that did not appear in the live action movies (of the 90s) and that gives some originality favour to the film. (And that's what I reckon student films/indie homages should do: rather than making yet another comeback for The Joker/Penguin/The Riddler, they should create a story with Batman taking on other villains from the comics or even the 60s series that hasn't appeared in the 90s yet. Make the Caped Crusader fight Egghead or Mad Hatter or The Bookworm or The Siren or some other villain.)
