    Movie Music Composers

For those of u who hadn't noticed a movie's music is just as important as the movie itself. I'm a big fan of such music owning many many soundtracks (not those actual song soundtracks with songs that have nothing to do with the movie)
So who is your favorite music composer?

    Mine are in order:

    Hans Zimmer
    Trevor Rabin
    Craig Armstrong
    James Horner

I intentionally leave out John Williams whom I hate

    post ur favorites

You're waiting for a train, a train that will take you far away. You know where you hope this train will take you, but you can't be sure. But it doesn't matter - because we'll be together.

Hans Zimmer, Trevor Rabin, Harry Gregson-Williams
(they all count as one to me, since they are nearly identical)

    James Horner
    (sometimes.... he is too repetitive)

    Danny Elfman
    (almost always great)

Why is that? You don't like his music or there is something else?

the reason i said i hate Williams is cuz I really don't like is music, he had so many opportunities and screwed them, his music is short, simple, of course most of them are classics but only because they were accompanied by great scenes,(Jaws, Imperial MArch) but alone they are crap - at least that's what I think

At the center of the world there is a statue of a girl. She is standing near a well with a bucket bare and dry. I went and looked her in the eyes and she turned me into sand. This clumsy form that I despise scattered easy in her hands. And it came to rest upon a beach, with a million others there. We sat and waited for the sea to stretch out so that we could disappear into the endlessness of blue, into the horror of the truth. We are far less than we knew.

Yes, we are far less than we knew.
