Not to mention Yahoo's server is only slightly faster than a snail.

I've seen worse with some of Universal's official QT trailers.

Nothing the size of 640 of course.

its the same source... but apple did a better IVCT, thats proper 30fps to 24fps speed conversion(deinterlcing), coz the source is mostly likely to a be a tape, Apple also did a proper color correction, well for PCs at least, then also proper cropping....

what yahoo does to its trailers is the same what disney/miramax does to its crappy DVDs....... overly filtering...

the "muddy" look in the yahoo version is actually a filter called "dynamic noise reduction" .. but it seems the encoder used it to remove "interlacing", which sould not have been the case...
