    Madagascar (DreamWorks animated; 2005)

I suppose this was attached to Shark Tale?

MOD EDIT: modified the link. If I'm correct this is the exact same file available on the official website last night (currently offline). Alas only tisoy can verify my assumption...

The official link is now working again (now the QT trailer is in correct aspect ratio).

Well, cos right now it seems the only version available for the new (international) trailer is in German.

And a much higher-res version is also available (25.28MB. What did I say about Q.C. ey?... ):

On top of that, the German-dub version of domestic trailer is available too (20.36MB, posting for Q.C. purpose, in case you're interested):

It´s good if you´re a German like me!
So you understand each word. By the way, as a German I can say: The German version sounds like crap!

    Quicktime Trailer, 'fullscreen', 30.83MB:
    http://mp3content01.bcst.yahoo.com/b...0/12964524.mov

Judging from the quality this looks like a port from the official site - the only thing is this is not yet posted on the official site.

HD 1280x720 Hi Def in Divx

    http://trailers.divx.com/Dreamworks/Madagascar_HD.zip

not so sure if already posted, but this looks amazing and clearly shows how good mpeg4/divx is, this trailer has been encoded with only 3.2mbps :-) thats the normal bitrate for 640 QT files... hahaha

not quite. that's at about 500k which is 3.9mbps. 640 quicktime is around 200-250k. Less than half that.

EDIT: Not so impressed. Picture quality is good, but it takes a lot more system resources than quicktime would, and parts play choppy on a 2.8GHz P4 with hyper-threading.

Thanks for the link! The movie looks funny.

I think Madagascar is going to be fantastic!

The characters are great and I think the casting was very clever!

I was looking for photos and posters from the film just to see what it's going to be like and stumbled across http://www.poster-art-gallery.com/ma...vie-poster.php.

They've got a lot of info on the film and a much wider selection of pics and posters from the film than your usual suspects (i.e. allposters.com or art.com).

If you're interested, they've also got stuff like news about the film and profiles of the characters and other resources connected with the film.

BTW... I heard the samples of voice recordings for each of the characters on the madagascar-themovie site and they're just hilarious.

    Anyway... got to go.
