Well, it doesn't seem to be any faster with playing files.
    Which bug do you mean?

Well Stormwalker, indeed there is a new HD trailer!
Actually two, you can get them on the usual Apple trailer page. Here are the direct links:
    http://images.apple.com/movies/us/hd...tion_m720p.mov
    http://images.apple.com/movies/us/hd...rimm_m720p.mov
    Have fun!

Edit: Well, they are not very impressive, but that is only my personal opinion...

Edit: Maybe I should have posted that in the "Apple High-Def Trailer thread"... Sorry.

    QuickTime 7 preview 2 problems

    Hi all.

All those problems with the Windows version of the QuickTime 7 preview 2 are related only with the player or the trailers have any problem by itself?

Can I download the trailers to use it without problems in future final versions of QuickTime?

Final version of QuickTime 7 will be free?

    thx and bye.

the trailer files have nothing to do with the quicktime player itself.
the final version of the player will be free as usual. if you want the pro features then you have to pay $29.

Hello, I've installed the latest version of qt7 but, as in all releases of version 7, I can't seem to get the 5.1 option to work on my SB Audigy platinum. It only plays throught the front two speakers (stereo), however the player is outputitng 5.1 therefore all you hear is music and effects.... the voice which should be in the center and the rear speakers do not work at all. However, when I use my onboard (abit nf7-s) soundstorm chip, the 5.1 works great!
Suggestions? Or is the only thing I can do to wait?
    thanks

Just for the sake of completeness:
The new version 3 is considerably faster (at least on my configuration)! Below 80% processor usage even with the highest resolution quicktime 7 1080p videos (on a dualcore Athlon X2 4200+).
