Talking What is your favorite music video?

I am an avid video collector. Like many of you, I grew up in the MTV generation (when they actualy showed music videos). I was wondering what everyone else is into.

My favorite video is probably "Broken" by NIN, which is actualy a collection of videos mixed in with a Jeffery Dahmer/Henry: Portrait of a Serial Killer style snuff film. They are coming out with a new DVD version of "Closure" which has all of their videos and never before seen live footage.

Maybe we can use this thread to post cool old & new videos until JPB gets video-list.com up and running.

Thanks ZUBi. I had not seen that video. I was a fan of their first few albums, but I kind of fell of the wagon after A Perfect Circle started getting huge radio play. I have always loved there videos though.

Some of you may wanna bash me for my music taste if I say this:

    Holly Valance - Kiss Kiss

I just think it is a music video very well cut with some (seemingly simple but) eye-catching FX shots.

But to track down a copy of it took me years - finally I had to buy her new album from the UK to get the bonus DVD so I can finally watch it in good quality.

I like that video too, but can you really watch it anymore without thinking about Wayne's World?

Boogie Pimps: Somebody To Love (Salt Shaker Remix)

Love the song and watch the video all the time. Its sooooo cute. Whenever the song plays at work, we all go crazy with our jobs and get a special service from the music coordinator. Love being in the spot light, dancing.

Never had the chance seeing the video. But yeah, it's a funky song.

Especially with the Johnny Deep's v/o playing Hunter S Thompson from Fear And Loathing in Las Vegas.

    Another of my favorite videos......

    Coil - Tainted Love.

This video which contains stark and disturbing visuals portraying a man's decay from A.I.D.S. only to be mocked by a man clad in black leather eating grapes, was banned because it was considered to be obscene after first release. It is now on permanent display at the Museum of Modern Art.

I have a VHS copy of it on The WAX TRAX! video retrospective. It is a truely beautiful and powerful video and song. Highly recommended!!!
