Suggestion for music to be used in a student film
im making a little film project but i cant seem to find music that fits the movies style well. Im looking for stuff that isnt used too often in movies or not at all heres some notes about the movie im working on.
-It is a film of revenge aptly title Vengeance (at least for now).
-Takes place in a colorful Miami like city named palm cove (ill shoot around florida where i live)people wear lots of hawain Tee-shirts.
-Im really looking for things along the lines of Misrlou (the pulp fiction theme)some 70s and 60s music is good too, also some fast paced showdown music, and possibly some latin music that could capture the vengeance kind of mood.
-Movie contains some dark humor.
-It's going to be like a western but in a more modern society.
-Film Noir element.
-will have a few action scenes but mostly one on one. (very personal)
-will be fast paced.
If anyone has any suggestions it would make me very happy. Ive been searching forever for songs to use.

If you wanted, you could do a Tarantino-esque opening like in reservior dogs, with "Pick Up The Pieces" by the Average White Band playing. For the heavier scenes, I highly suggest some Brahams or heavy Beethoven. If a loved one dies use Moonlight Sonata by Beethoven. Hope this helps
