    Wrong! Wrong! Wrong!

The movie was released just around this time last year in its homeland Hong Kong.

And how did I know? Because I went to see it in a jam-packed theater with a lady friend in Hong Kong last August when I was visiting the place! So no more argument on how old the movie is.

Got it on DVD also (from HK of course). Yeah, not a bad movie. The humour is still a bit Hongkie-style schlockish, but you've got to give it an applause for the imaginative use of FXs. (Well, it's still ripping off Matrix's bullet-time, but at least no one has used it on a sports movie yet.)

Not a remake either, though it may be inspired by a Japanese manga. But the idea of mixing Sholin Kung Fu with soccer playing is original.
