    Bad news for Aeon Flux?

    Source: Scifiwire

Paramount has quietly canceled all preview screenings of its upcoming SF movie Aeon Flux, starring Charlize Theron, in an unusual move for a high-profile film; Paramount offered no explanation, though studios often fail to preview films if they fear a negative critical reaction.

All the reviews on Rotten Tomatoes so far bad... most of the reviews on IMDB good... interesting. I had high hopes for this movie, I think I'll still give it a chance.

I had a bad feeling right from the start.
    Looks like it's been confirmed.

I went to see it the other night and it is kind of hard to form an opinion on it after it was over. the action and effects were really good but the story/plot I found really hard to follow at first until one of the characters explains what is going on then it made alot more sense.

I went to see it today and this is my opinion:

    1. the editing was terrible
    2. there is a major continuity problem
    3. a lot of material seems to have been filmed and then left on the cutting room floor
    4. the storyline was convoluted
    5. the running time was too short at just over 1.5 hours

maybe the DVD will restore the movie to its entirety?
