readin´ HP6 again-this time in czech translation.
what is f...cked about that is that almost all the names are translated, so when I read in english, it takes me time to find out who is who and now, readin´ czech here it comes again - who is who?
anyway czech translation is quite well done, so no problema
got 2 more books for christmas - 50 famous directors and 200 censored movies

Germs, Guns, and Steel by Jared Diamond. Great book about the rise of civilization and why Eurasian societies ended up dominating the world. Very good.
"34 million American adults are obese. Putting together that excess blubber would fill the Grand Canyon two-fifths of the way up. That may not sound impressive, but keep in mind it is a very big canyon."

I just finished Fahrenheit 451. I read 1984 earlier in the year and was interested in reading this as it's often compared. Really bleak view of the future.
I also read Walk On: The Spiritual Journey of U2. It's written by a minister who takes a look at the spiritual side of the band from their early beginnings, through all the albums and tours up to and including Bomb and Vertigo '05. It's a great read for anyone who's a fan, which I am a I huge one.
The next book I've started to read is Bravo Six Two Zero by Andy McNab.You're waiting for a train, a train that will take you far away. You know where you hope this train will take you, but you can't be sure. But it doesn't matter - because we'll be together.

Just finished Bravo Two Zero by Andy McNab.
Great book! I have the up most respect for the SAS and consider them to be the best of the best when it comes to Special Forces. How these guys did what they did and made it through is beyond me. I know there's some controversy surrounding McNab's version of events and that there's two other books on this mission available. One by another member of the patrol and the other is called "The Real Bravo Two Zero" which is suppose clear up a lot of what happened. I'd be interested in reading those two in the future.
