LGF has always been around. It sponsers all those not so well known Hollywood crap. I don't know for how long they have been aroudn but a memory just poped up of watching the animated logo on a VHS long time ago.
As for The Dead Zone, thats a BRILLIANT new series that started like 2 months ago in the U.S. I've downloaded all the episodes @ SVCD quality and I am amazed. Based off Stephan King's book and move made in the 60s or 70s, its amazing. U can download the first episode (pilot) off my site too which its going to be up for just under 2 weeks. Grab it and enjoy it!

The Cat's Meow and Tape are both Lion's Gate. And both are great films.
At the center of the world there is a statue of a girl. She is standing near a well with a bucket bare and dry. I went and looked her in the eyes and she turned me into sand. This clumsy form that I despise scattered easy in her hands. And it came to rest upon a beach, with a million others there. We sat and waited for the sea to stretch out so that we could disappear into the endlessness of blue, into the horror of the truth. We are far less than we knew.

Yes, we are far less than we knew.
