Happy New Year for all members! I've finished watching "Sideways". Brilliant movie for last day of this year.

Happy 2006, everybody.
Personal whining ahead ...
For some reason, 2005 had many closures to me personally: Collection-wise I finally got some of the things I'd been longing for ages (Batman SEs, Star Wars DVDs thanks to JM, City Hunter Complete - both comics and DVD, the English edition of Tintin in the Congo, etc...). Work-wise things I'd been doing for years seemed to be coming to an end (except for MODing the Forum, and not to say I've lost my job in the real world mind you).
There were some sad departures, for which not a thing I could really do to change the tide, so I guess I just had to accept it as part of life.
I don't know if it's the beginning of an end, or the end of a beginning, but certainly it's a transitory period.
I can't say 2005 is one of the best years I've had, but certainly it's not one of the worst. So as a fool's hope, 2006 will be even better, in ways God only knows.
@JM: so what did your cute li'l gal ( ) get for Xmas that made her jaw dropped?Last edited by editman; 12-31-2005 at 10:36 PM.
"The idea was to be a symbol. editman could be anybody, that was the point."

Happy New Year.
Sgt. Johnny Beaufort: He says, "The Apaches are a great race," sir. "They've never been conquered. But it is not well for a nation to be always at war. The young men die... the women sing sad songs... and the old ones are hungry in the winter."
