Quicktime encoding
I got several programs : AVS Video Converter, Xilisoft Video Converter (not useful), Sorenson Squeeze and QuickTime Pro 7. And I'm trying to encode in QT.
So I have several question : which program is the best for QT encoding ? Which codec (h264 or sorenson video 3?) is the best ? How to do to get a smaller size for my file (for example, a *.vob is about 180 Mo and when I encode it in QT is about 120 Mo) ?
Someone can help me to see clearer (I don't know if it's the right word) ?
And what are the best settings for QT compression with Sorenson Squeeze ?
If you need more informations, tell me.

The best program (IMO) is Squeeze.
Settings to use depends on the video you are encoding. A lot of this is trial and error.

Thanks for your answer.
Squeeze is a really good program but I don't succeed to reduce the size of my videos (their size is almost the same the *.vob size )

What bitrate are you using? Try lowering that.

I tried that & it works
thanks for the tip
