You may have noticed in the top forum bar, a link to VbPlaza Menu.

This new points system allows you to do things like change your username and appearance... Change your user title and appearance... send gifts and ribbons to other members... Donate to or steal points from other users... play a lottery to win extra points... put points in the bank to gain interest...

We will also have some cool movie stuff that you can trade your points in for.

Points are gained by, starting threads, posting, referring friends, viewers viewing your threads, as well as a bunch of other things.

If you have any problems, suggestions, or anything else... let us now.

Here are a few features:

You receive 15 points for every new thread you create.
You receive a point everytime someone reads one of your threads.
You receive 50 points for every referral to the forum.
You receive 100 points for adding a Profile picture.
The bank pays 2% interest every 2 days.

"Loyal Members" (registered for more than 2 years) receive an 8% discount on all items.

There is one Lottery per day (10,000 points + number of tickets sold)
and
one Lottery per week (100,000 points + number of tickets sold)

There are other ways to make money, but we'll keep those a secret to avoid cheating.

), are the by far two of the greatest Forum changes of all time. (Sounds like I'm sucking up to the boss but I REALLY mean it.)

Hehe, I just wanna know how many points do I need to get a Movie-List mug, which I always want one.

Actually... sometime in the near future, we'll be "selling" (giving away) a bunch of movie stuff in exchange for points. (including ML stuff)

BTW... is there any particular reason that nobody is playing the Predict the Box Office game? I thought that would be popular.

I think this is a great addition, but shouldn't points be awarded for uploading VOBs? I would think that would be one of the more beneficial additions to the site from users, eh?

Although there's no automated way to give points for VOBs, the admin can give points to users, so there will be compensation.

FYI: The daily lottery only has 1 entry so far. Prize is over 10,000 points.
