Man On Fire alternate ending question
I don't know how many of you have but this is for those who have the Man On Fire Collector's Edition DVD, or who have seen the alternate ending.
What exactly did Creasy ask The Voice before setting off the bomb: "You ever see a... something something watch could do"? Danzel Washington slurred the words so much I can't understand clearly.
EDIT: Here's the deleted scene (excerpt) in Quicktime.Last edited by editman; 05-02-2006 at 03:50 AM.
"The idea was to be a symbol. editman could be anybody, that was the point."

I wish I had the DVD on me. Alas, it's at home and I am at the University...

I had the same problem with understanding what he says.

There must be a version that subs the extras?

Actually, if no one has the SE, I might just encode the scene tomorrow, post it here and someone who has a better ear can tell me.

Okay, added link to (part of) the deleted scene in question to post #1 (in low-quality 480 Quicktime - I haven't been encoding for a long time so excuse the poor result). I'll be very grateful to anyone who can figure out Creasy's line in words.

Unknown "Man on Fire" quote
"Do you ever see the hand of God in what you do?"
-
But of course! It's the same line the Madre asked Creasy.
Now why didn't any of us regular think of that?...
Thanks, piratemolly.
