Thumbs down Fake movie posting on IMDB !!

    Police Academy (2007):

    http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0418068/

Now I know this couldn't be real!!

First, has Steve Guttenberg's career gotten so bad he has to remake a crappy movie from his early days?

Second, check out the cast list; it's the same from the 1985 movie.

They are all old or maybe even dead; they couldn't be using the same cast, could they?

The only one of the original cast that I know of that is dead is the guy who played Tackleberry (the gun nut), and he isn't listed on the page you gave.

Besides, the movie is listed as "pre-production", which could mean anything, and the page hasn't been updated since last September. So while it may not be a bogus page, that doesn't mean that this movie will actually be released.

    Police Academy (2007)

I will like to see what will happen with this movie. I liked some previous titles in this series.

i don't know if this is real or not..but bravo was doing the "100 funniest movies of all time" and the police academy series made it on the list...although i don't know what number...anyway..bravo said to look out for "police academy: the new recruits"...so i don't know...but once again...pre-production could mean anything...

    Steve Guttenberg has a career?
Sgt. Johnny Beaufort: He says, "The Apaches are a great race," sir. "They've never been conquered. But it is not well for a nation to be always at war. The young men die... the women sing sad songs... and the old ones are hungry in the winter."
