Good Trailers for Bad Movies
I'm making a list of bad movies that had good trailers.
Who has some suggestions?

My pick would be "Into the Blue".

All-time-favourite in the category:
"Bad Boys II"
Also:
"Pearl Harbor"
"The Descent"
"The Legend of Zorro"
"Fun with Dick and Jane"
"Rumor Has It"
"The Dark"
"Matrix Reloaded & Revolutions" (though they weren't particularly bad ... just not up to the first movie)
"Dreamcatcher" (what an aweful movie-experience)
"Tomb Raider" (the trailer was at least intriguing)
"Men in Black II" (one of the worst movies in years)
"Mindhunters" (likewise)
I'll update the list as movie-titles spring to mind
.
Best regards,
VSG

So, calling it 'bad' might have been a poor choice of words. To me it was disappointing and a wasted opportunity. But those are just my two cents - your's might read entirely different

I liked Signs too, it seems to me that it's all a matter of personal taste, for example you can have bad hollywood movies but you can also have bad bad movies, movies which are so bad they aren't even known to the general public.

07-25-2006, 04:29 PM #14Well personaly i would call everybody that liked signes morons... that movie sucked so bad that its not even a matter of taste.. its a matter of stupidity... i would rather se a 50 year old alien movie with cardbord sets, homemade costumes, and aliens made of gardentools and papermache... im not even gonna name the 100000 flaws and stupiditys in signs cos most of em are so ovious that a blind man could se em...

Godzilla - Very nice trailers, quite bad film (no wonder the trailers didn't give away the plot)
Batman & Robin
Batman Returns (I know I'm gonna get flamed for that one...)
Ocean's 12 (OK, wasn't that great, but at least you could stay awake through it)
Scary Movie 4
Die Another Day
