More and more movies nowadays are featuring Extra Materials during and/or after the end credits sequence.

This means moviegoers will want to stay in their seats until the final frame is shown and the lights FULLY come on.

But most people start leaving the theater as soon as the "Directed By" frame is shown on the screen.

Is it good or bad to feature extra materials during and/or after the end credits sequence?

I am the only person in my family who will stay in the theater until the final frame is shown.

I want to get my money worth!!

No one wants to go to the movies with me because they will have to wait for me to come out of the theater and nowadays, some of these credits can roll on for 10 minutes (or in the case of The Lords of the Ring, 20 minutes!!)

Here's a short list of recent movies that featured End Credits Material:

Flags of our Father
Monster House
Hostel
Crank
You, Me and Dupree
Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest
X-Men: The Last Stand
Over the Hedge
Slither
Cars
