    Wink "The Ring" kills Box Office

    Plenty of moviegoers saw DreamWorks' English remake of The Ring this weekend. The $43M Gore Verbinski-directed horror mystery, starring Naomi Watts, took first place with an estimated $15M from 1,981 theaters for an impressive $7,587 average.

    Reese Witherspoon's Sweet Home Alabama remained in the second place spot surpassing a certain Hannibal Lecter prequel. In its fourth week, the $30M romantic comedy garnered an estimated $9.6M to take its total $98.5M. The blockbuster hit should break the $100M mark in a few days..

    I gave 10 bucks each to Transporter(not too bad), Formula 51(****ing AWESOME), and Rules Of Attraction(Really good character piece, fairly boring story).

    Next Week's must-sees:

    Bowling For Columbine
    Punch-Drunk Love
    Jackass

    I saw movie (DivX, June 26, 2002) under name 51st State, The (aka Formula 51). 3.5/5 from my side. not soo good as I expected (from Trailer). but watchable...

    I really liked the 51st State. The english/irish accent reminded me of Snatch and Brad Pitt's talk don't know why
