Predict Box Office - December 8-10 contest

This weekend no box office - J-P has written. I like predicting very much, so I decided to make a contest. The little one with the one prize - 500 000 vpoints for the winner.

Just predict opening weekend for 3 movies: APOCALYPTO, BLOOD DIAMOND and THE HOLIDAY. You must only choose from those outcomes:

9 million (and under)
9.1 - 11 million
11.1 - 13 million
13.1 - 15 million
15.1 - 17 million
17.1 - 19 million
19.1 - 21 million
21 Million (and over)

for example:

APOCALYPTO 17.1 - 19
BLOOD DIAMOND 11.1 - 13
THE HOLIDAY 9 and under

If someone predict all 3 movies, then win the prize. If there will more than one winner - prize will be divided between them. Anyway... it's worth to predict, because you don't need to bet and you can't lose your points.

Contest will be closed tomorrow (friday) at 2 pm polish time (Warsaw). Now it's thursday 4.30 pm. So you have more than 21 hours to decide and predict. I'll be posting here some predictions from many sources. Stay tuned!

I think movie goers will be evenly split between Blood Diamond and Holiday.

Apocalypto is not going to do well because of Mel Gibson's recent personal behaviors!!

Two new things:

1. (note that .1 means anything over zero
ie: 10,000,000 = 10 Million --- 10,000,001 = 10.1 Million)

2. Prize has been changed:
- for predicting exact result of 3 movies - 500 000
- for predicting exact result of 2 movies - 200 000
- for predicting exact result of 1 movie - 100 000

still, if there will more than one winner - prize will be divided between them.

I just read the review for Apocalypto:

it's supposed to be a brutal, gore filled violent movie (with English Subtitles)

Women getting raped, children getting murdered, Men getting brutally killed...

I am not watching this!!

Man! You must understand it. That was Mayan, Toltec and Aztec civilization with all traditions. The most known were religious murders. Almost like in our times...
