Some good news....

As most of you may have forgotten, I was supposed to get married last year. That relationship fell through, and the wedding never happened.

6 months ago, I got into a relationship with someone I've known for 4 years, and I gotta tell ya, I've never been happier.

Last Saturday, I proposed to my girlfriend, to which she said "Yes". We are planning on getting married next fall, and as Movie-List members AS MY WITNESSES, I'm going to follow through with this one.

Normally, I wouldn't post something like this, but I've never met anyone in my life who makes me feel as alive as she does. So after I told all of my friends and family back home, I thought I would tell the ones here on Movie-List.

So is the wedding going to b somehow special, are u goin to do it movie-like again, or typical wedding? My mum has a wedding agency, so I know what a frackin mess is around it, but once all is done, wedding that is being taken care off well and seriously ends up like the moment worth remembering whole life. I hope yours will be like that too!!

No we haven't talked about a "themed" wedding yet, though her mom is already shopping for wedding dresses online.

Although one night we did talk about children's names, just to talk about them (she's not pregnant). She did say she liked Luke (as in Skywalker) and Logan (as in Wolverine). When I told her the significance of those names, she asked, "Does everything have to relate to movies or comic books with you?". To which I replied, "Yes. Yes it does". Needless to say, the boy's name of Chewbacca was quickly thrown out.

And no, she won't take me away from Movie-List. Someone has to keep all of you informed about the "Idiot of the Day"!!!

And yes, names like "Luke", "Logan", "Clark", "Bruce" are always related to comics or movies. If you last name "Parker", the choice of "Peter" for the son is not a good idea.

Well, so far things are looking pretty good. We went out house shopping this past weekend, and we saw alot of styles we liked, but this one has been in the back of our minds the entire time. It's a 3 bedroom, 2 bath, 1907 sq. ft house.



It's called a "modular" home, and for those of you who dont' know, it means that it's pre-built off site and they bring it to your property in sections, usually split in half.

It comes with all of the appliances, except for a washer and dryer, and you can also pick whatever colors you want for any room, including the exterior of the house. If you don't like the floorplan you can change it to suit your needs....within reason.

We're also going to add a basement and a 2 car garage on the side, because it does get a little cold up here in the winter, not to mention all of the snow.
