As its 23 horrifying days of flesheating come to an end, the Creeper has embarked on its final voracious feeding frenzy in Poho County. As night falls, the terrified group of young athletes must fight their own fears and prejudices and come together in a seemingly hopeless struggle against a winged nightmare, hellbent on stockpiling as many victims as it can on the ultimate night of its grizzly, ritual feast.

Yes, me too...it had some cool, 'creepy' atmosphere, that most modern horrors don't have. Especially in the part with the tube...

I enjoyed the first one too. But I wasn't completely satisfied with the ending. Oh well.

That poster sure does look creepy though.
If you can stay calm, while all around you is chaos...then you probably haven't completely understood the seriousness of the situation.

Is the first one worth a rental?

I remember the trailer really putting me off with its "this is the part of the movie where someone does something really stupid" lines.

I'd say it was worth a rental. The first half is actually incredibally creapy so long as you avoid asking questions. It all goes down hill in the second half though

I really enjoyed the first. Crappy ending, but still an enjoyable flick.

This poster immediately reminded me of the poster for 'The Frighteners':

The movie is good...at least the first half... then it gets stupid...

basically... what makes the story scary is that you aren't sure what is killing everyone... but as the blurb above has said... it's a "winged creature" (no intent to spoil here.. it's in the blurb above) and it was from the point that this silly creature was shown to the audience that it begin to stink...

great first half though... i probably won't see the sequel on the big screen just because we've seen the silly monster...

The first one was pretty cool. It had a few laughs too. I'll more than likely go see the sequel.

The original was better than other frighteners such as Darkness Falls and They, IMO.
