QUESTION about an Episode of the Simpsons (Season #7, Episode 18) !!

I am trying to catch up on the past 19 years of the Simpsons by watching the first 10 seasons on DVD (season 11-18 are not on DVD yet).

Anyway, there was an episode in Season 7 named The Day the Violence Died

Bart & Lisa meet a bum who claims to have created Itchy, one half of the cat and mouse team of their favorite cartoon series, "Itchy & Scratchy."

at the end of it there were 2 kids that appeared and they looked like a BIZARRO Bart and Lisa and then the episode ended.

My question is what other episodes have these 2 kids appeared in?

I was hoping for some kind of mystery storyline, you know?

isn't it suppose to be a spoof on how corporations find willing actors to help promote their image?

Also allows companies to pay actors instead of the kids legally demanding money in helping the company.
