Just to clarify the different terms used on different sites regarding the 3 Transformers teasers/trailers (cos I was a bit confused myself):

1. Annoucement Trailer (Apple) = Annoouncement Teaser (Movie-List) = 1st domestic teaser with the Mars Rover = file unchanged
2. Teaser (Apple) = Quicktime Teaser (Movie-List) = 2nd domestic "Our World Will be Transformed" teaser (no Optimus Prime voiceover) = new on Apple
3. Trailer (#4) (Apple) = Quicktime Trailer (Movie-List Trailer of the Month May 2007) = Domestic "Most Come to Destroy Us" trailer = new on Apple


And talk about Apple being awfully late - making their encodes available just one day before official release date of the movie, months after Yahoo. Could be an exclusive thing between Yahoo and Paramount/Dreamworks, but doesn't that tell you (even though we all know) about Apple Trailers being yesterday's leader as a Quicktime trailers host?

EDIT: DOA trailer posted 3 weeks after(!) the film bombed in the US. I rest my case.

Either they've gone bonkers, I'd say, or their encoder(s) were on holiday and now clearing up the piled-up work, or they now have more bandwidth to spare than last month. Who knows.

To top it off, they've taken the one trailer offline which I want in HD but didn't have the time to DL cos my box was busy DLing the other 39 trailers they posted. No wonder it's Friday the 13th - O Goddness of Fate, why do you mock me...

Not to mention the Dynamic Warrior trailer is in the wrong aspect ratio. They didn't take that one offline. Pathetic.

I was talking about Sleuth (come on, JB, I'd thought you'd figured it out by looking at the list above. )

If you have the 1080p trailer, and if it's not too much trouble, would appreciate it if you could UL it to the Public FTP. Otherwise, could you tell me if there's anything wrong with the Apple encode? (eg wrong aspect ratio - I'm trying to figure out why they took it online so soon.)
