Chris Columbus producing Fantastic Four
http://www.latinoreview.com/index.html
I just got a call from Kellvin, who's attending the Harry Potter Junket. Chris Columbus was talking about his future now that he's not going to be directing the next Harry Potter movie.
So what's up next for Chris Columbus?
He will be producing The Fantastic Four!
Commenting on an early draft turned in by Mike Frances:
"...Mike Frances version is a good script. That version unfortunately cost around $700 million dollars! (Laughter) It's difficult to get a studio to back it. We're working on a rewrite of the script.
.
well, I hope they will make this as good as XMen And Spiderman =)

Chris Columbus has always been involved with movies that are more lighthearted or family-types. He doesn't seem like the right person to be involved with this. Granted, I never read the comics or saw the cartoon, so I don't know the in-depth details of the story, but I've never really associated comic-books with "family entertainment."

come on, dont judge him by that. In that case Lord of the Rings would suck
